Noon – 2 PM Meet the Artists Scott Hanna and Pamela Ptak
A top inker in the industry, Scott Hanna has been drawing & inking comic books for over 20 years. At Marvel Comics, he worked on all the top characters including Spider-man, Batman, the X-men and the Hulk. He has appeared on national television and would love to tell you about his life as a comic book inker.
Bucks County couturier Pamela Ptak lives, breathes, loves and creates high fashion. She creates garments for couture and haute couture clients the world over. She’ll tell you how it’s done – from the initial sketches, draping, pattern making, and fabric selection, to the sewing and fitting of the garment. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of the best.
3 – 4 PM Meet Jerry Brown
A multi-talented showman and a favorite of Tinicum Arts Festival Audiences for years, Jerry is an accomplished juggler, magician, musician and story teller. His monkey pal, Django, will steal your heart away.
Sunday July 13
10 AM – 2 PM Enjoy Early American Tales & Colonial Toy Demonstrations with George Vinter, Sr George is and Early American re-enactor who demonstrates 18th and 19th century toys and games. Learn about horn book, rolling hoops, games of graces, fox and geese and more. He will bring a selection of his hand-crafted toys and games and will invite you to try your hand and test your skills.
Noon – 2 PM Meet Author Teri Lewis
Teri, author of the children’s books Maddie’s Marvelous Tail and The Trouble with Roger, will be accompanied by one or possibly both of the animals that are the real-life inspirations for her books: Maddie the miniature horse and/or Trouble the talking parrot will delight one and all.
3 – 4 PM The Art of Magic Show with Barry Weaver
This magic show has it all – audience participation, outbursts of laughter, excitement and fun for all. Back by popular demand, let Barry put a smile on your face.
