Daily - Weather permitting, tennis, basketball or ice skating at Tinicum Township’s Four Brooks Park, Cafferty & Smithtown Rds. Open dawn to dusk. Township residents only. Parking provided.
Weekdays - Recycling: Disposal of appliances and other large items is available year round. Call Twp Bldg for details. 610-294-9154. Hazardous household waste is collected by the County in the summer. Recycle Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs at all Home Depot stores free of charge.

Erwin-Stover House in Tinicum Park is closed during the winter and reopens with regular hours in May.

16 Rock Climbing at High Rocks Overlook 10 am – 1 pm, sponsored by Delaware Canal State Park. $10/person or $30/ family. Appropriate for ages 8 and up, individuals or families interested in trying the sport. Helmets and harnesses provided. Registration is required. 9 Got Worms? A Conservation-Education Spotlight Program sponsored by the Tinicum Conservancy. 10 am to noon. Learn about composting with worms and build your own worm composting bin to take home. It is easy, odor-free and more efficient than traditional composting. Registration is limited to 15. $10 materials fee to secure registration. 8 Delaware River Paddle Program sponsored by the Delaware Canal State Park. Learn paddling techniques and identify local wildlife on the 4.7 miles between Upper Black Eddy and Tinicum Park. Requested donation is $15/person for ages 12 and above includes the use of the boat, paddles and life jackets. A non-paddling child may ride in a kayak with an adult free of charge.
